As it turns out we are staying at Bodi's abode. The whole trying to call him Bodi thing is really awkward considering 1)I know his real name is Chad, 2)he originally introduced himself to me as "Ash" and 3)everyone associated with the Renaissance festival and his adoptive family on whose farm he resides call him "Ash." Besides all that, his mother has a computer and we stopped in to use her laundry machines, and so I am updating...
As it turns out I was completely fucking correct in my suspicion concerning the necessity of my presence: I'm basically here because Ash (BODI! I really can't get used to that...) "missed" me. It took some goading, but I got him to admit that he could have talked Eric into letting me stay in Pittsburgh if I'd "really needed to." Um... I'm not gonna touch that one.
And he bought me tank tops with dumb sayings: The first states "I am the bad girl" (which is okay I suppose-- we're the bad guys in the joust-- except for the fact that it gets the wrong kind of attention [he insisted I wear it today because he has a matching "I'm the bad guy" t-shirt and enjoys giving the impression he has some sort of cohesiveness with a cute little big-tittied 19 year old. I don't know why I bother...]. I don't think any conversation today with passersby and new rennies failed to involve it.); the second, "Bad never looked this good." The first is somewhat justified. I doubt I will ever feel cocky enough to wear the latter in public.
We're going out for sushi tonight. All-I-can-eat. Should be a fun attempt at jogging afterward.
Tomorrow morning we need to be at some barn or another (maybe even the festival site; I'm not entirely sure) at 7:30. Or that's the rumor, at least. I never really know what's going on around here, which isn't too comforting now that I reflect on the fact.
No Zobmondo choice today, as I've left the book at home.
